First stag beetles in Fankenland….

Since 20 April we have received the first stag beetle reports from Franconia. Perhaps these beetles have been encouraged to climb by a disturbance or are the rustic fellows already beginning their flights? Just like us, the stag beetles can hardly wait for the thermometer to finally climb!
